2013 Panini Crown Royale Football Box Break Recap and Review

Crown Royale Football has always been a visual feast of die cuts and foil that make a great set.  The consistency of theme and respect for the history of the brand makes 2013 Panini Crown Royale Football a pleasure to collect and one of the nicest looking premium offerings available.

Panini Crown Royale Football falls into our premium cards category.  Each box contains 4 packs with 5 cards each with a promise of four autograph or memorabilia cards with at least 2 Autograph cards per box.

Here are the cards we pulled.

Frank Gore, Brandon Marshall, Darren McFadden
Kyle Rudolph, Josh Boyce, Earl Wolff
 Nick Kasa, Travis Kelce

Numbered Parallels

Inserts
 Tony Romo Crown Jewels

The Hits

Zach Sudfeld Autograph #/49, Eric Reed Autograph #/49
 Vance McDonald Autograph #/25

Overall Look
These are some of the best-looking cards produced each year and this set is no exception.  Sophisticated design with nice foil accents and fabulous die-cuts.  The Rookie Silhouette Signatures are some of the best looking autograph cards out there.

Quality and Variety of Players
This checklist gives you a little of everything with nice rookie prospecting, established veterans and greats of the game.  But as with all 2013 Football products, the rookie class is still, for the most part, unproven talent.

Do the Hits satisfy?
The weaker Rookie class certainly detracts from the usual overall satisfaction but the 3 autos in our box certainly helped matters.  But there are still some big hits to be pulled.

Will you keep coming back for more?
Crown Royale is still worthy of multiple box purchases.

Rating
4 out of 5

2013 Panini Crown Royale Football is a favorite year after year.
