1986 Fleer Michael Jordan Basketball Trading Card is the focus of Mint Monday

It's Monday, a day when hope springs eternal. Hope that this week will be perfect. It's also the perfect time to look for perfect cards. It's what we call Mint Monday.

Let's kick off the week with this PSA 10 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan Rookie card.

This is about as iconic as there is when it comes to Basketball cards, whether is be Vintage Graded Rookie Cards or Modern Day. 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan is THE chase card and getting a hold of it in a high graded slabbed is a pricy proposition. This card also comes as a reprint, so caution must be taken… well… not to be taken.

The pricing on this card can vary widely depending on condition.

Normally I give you prices for a card if you are trying to purchase it raw (not graded or slabbed) In this instance I’m not so sure that’s a great idea. Because of the heavy demand for this card and the fact that three was a close reprint issued and some proven fakes, if you really want this card it is probably best buying it already graded.  If someone is offering it to you raw at an unbelievable price, it might be a good idea to stay away.

Graded versions should start around $300 for cards grade as low as a PSA 2. Expect a mid range Graded card to price at about $600. PSA 7 starting a little over $700 to $1,100. PSA 8 between $1,200 to $1,500. PSA 9 between $2,200 to $3,000. PSA 10 from $7,000 going all the way to $15,000.
