Review This Box Of 2012 Panini Rookies & Stars And You Could Win Prizes In Our NFL Player Of The Day Contest

As a new contest idea I thought it might be fun to provide you with an opportunity to help me write a review.  Well... at the very least, part of one.  I will compensate you handsomely with some of the prizes from our 2012 Panini America NFL Player of the Day promotion if I use your comments.

One of the grand prizes from our prize pool is a box of 2012 Panini Rookies & Stars Football cards.  That box is still sealed, but I did open a different box of R&S that I got just after the release date.  Of course, you can pick up you own box of Rookies & Stars from your local card shop.  Use this link to go to the Panini Player of the Day website and use the Hobby Shop Locator to find the store nearest you.

Below you will find some basic information about the product and scans of some of the cards I pulled along with all of the hits.

To enter this contest you should look at all the information and make your own comments/review about the product.  Use these questions as guidelines:

2012 Panini Elite Football NFL Trading Cards Box Break Recap And Review

How do you know a company is listening to its customers?  When direct feedback is incorporated into their products.  That is exactly what has happened with 2012 Panini Elite Football.  Besides dropping the Donruss name, Panini has removed what collectors felt didn't work and added some nice touches with some new inserts to make this a group of stylish looking cards and a product full of desirable hits.

Elite Football fits nicely into our premium cards category.  Each hobby box contains 20 – 5 card packs with a promise of four autograph and/or memorabilia cards per box with at least 2 of those hits being autographs.

Here are some of the cards we pulled.

2012 Topps Heritage Minor League Baseball Box Break Recap and Review

2012 was a great year for Minor League Baseball and continues to be going strong with the start of the Arizona Fall League that boasts past participants like Derek Jeter, Mike Piazza, Nomar Garciaparra, Shawn Green, Todd Helton, Albert Pujols, Roy Halladay, and Ryan Howard to name a few.  Now in its second year, 2012 Topps Heritage Minor League Baseball offers collectors a unique release, unlike Pro Debut or any of the Bowman line.  With it's modest price, great base set and the chance for some really nice hits, Heritage Minor League is a solid set and a great purchase for fans of the MiLB, set builders and prospectors.

This set falls under our classification of trading cards.  Hobby Boxes contain 24 – 9 card packs and feature two autograph cards and one relic card.

Here is a look at some of the cards we pulled.

Our Two Contest Winners From This Week’s Panini Player To Watch Challenge Questions

The week’s Challenge Questions were a little bit easier than last week’s, but not by much.  While no one got all 3 questions correct for a Perfetto, we did have 2 winners this week.

Dion’s IP Autos only was our big winner of the week. He left his answers here on the blog and got questions 1 and 3 correct for a Doppia.  He has won the pack of his choice from our Group Two Prizes.  He gets to choose either a pack of Peyton Manning Career Highlights, a pack of Super Bowl XLVI cards, a pack of Panini National VIP Exclusives or a pack of Hall of Fame Class of 2012 cards.

On Our Facebook page, Neil Cousin was able to get question 1 in the correct order for an Ordine. He gets to choose on of our Group One prizes, either a 2012 Panini America NFL Player of the Day pack, the same one found at your local card shop or one of the 10 Silver Foil NFL Player of the Day cards.  The players you can select from are Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, Justin Blackmon, Kendall Wright, Michael Floyd, Peyton Manning, Robert Griffin III, Ryan Tannehill, Tim Tebow, and Trent Richardson.

To claim your prizes, email us at AACNFLPOD (at) Yahoo (dot) com with you selection and make sure to include your shipping address.  You have until Wednesday, November 21, 2012 to claim your prizes.

While had only two winners with correct answers to our Challenge Questions this week, all of you that left eligible answers were winners too because you received an additional 3 bonus entries in our Main Prize Pool.

In order, here are the Top 10 leaders in our Main Prize Pool entries right now.
