It's a perfect record for Pinnacle Hockey Blasters as the Boston Bruins win the Stanley Cup

First there were Fortune Cookies, then the Magic 8 Ball and now we have Pinnacle Hockey Blasters.

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical of the results of our last blaster, the one that predicted the Boston Bruins would take the Stanley Cup with a shut out of the Vancouver Canucks on Canadian Ice.  After all, the two blasters before that yielded a total of 13 Canucks, 14 if you include this Cory Schneider City Lights Memorabilia card.
But it is clear now that these blasters are the real thing.   They also contain some awesome hockey cards, but that is not the point here.  Look at the first card we pulled from the previous blaster.
Who scored the first goal of last night's game?   Ummm...... I believe that would be Patrice Bergeron.   Now take away the 2 goals that really should not have happened, the short handed goal also by Bergeron and the empty net goal by Brad Marchand (who had a great series BTW) and what score do you have?  That would be Boston Bruins 2 - Vancouver Canucks 0.   Where have I seen that before?  Oh, yes, that was the prediction given to us by Tuesday's 10-11 Pinnacle Hockey Blaster.

Time to submit to the powers of these boxes non-believers.

While most felt the Canucks were destined to win at home, except maybe for a Boston Bruins' fan who was the one voice of dissension "We didn't lose to the British, we aren't gonna lose to British Columbia", because of our blaster's prediction, I had a feeling things were going Boston's way.

I don't want to take away from the incredible numbers of the newest Conn Smythe Trophy Winner, Tim Thomas, 246 save attempts with a 96.7% for saves, only letting 8 of those shots get by him in 7 games.  Still, its not perfection like our Pinnacle blasters that went 3 for 3.

The final question is not whether these blasters have mysterious powers, that has been proven, but whether or not there are other Panini blasters that carry the same kind of powers?   Perhaps we will have to consult others in the future.

You can check out our orignal posts for all three blasters of 2010 - 11 Panini Pinnacle Hockey using these links, Blaster 1, Blaster 2 and Blaster 3.
